Here’s a cake that Elvis would love, but it’s actually a treasured family recipe that’s been passed down for years. This is a family recipe passed down from a very special woman, Grandma Bev.

Foodie Byte: This recipe makes a two layer cake or one 9×13 sheet cake.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, room temperature
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- Pinch of salt
- 1 cup mashed bananas, approximately 3 bananas
- 1/4 cup milk
- For Peanut Butter Frosting:
- 2 tablespoons creamy peanut butter
- 4 cups powdered sugar
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 2 tablespoons milk
Preparation
- Preheat over to 350°F.
- Sift dry ingredients together.

Cream sugar and butter, then add the eggs one at a time.
- Add dry ingredients and mix well.
- Add bananas and milk; mix until blended.
- Bake for 35 minutes or until done.
